Week 2: #Drop10TODAY

It’s always a challenge the second full week of dieting.  For those who have watched “The Biggest Loser”, you may have seen them- hit the no weight loss wall. I was pretty successful with week 1 and then got a bit complacent, thinking “I’ve got this”.  Ha… that little hamburger won’t hurt me.  That followed by a few chips or cheese and crackers with a little rose… Ah, no problem!!!

The neighborhood team did pretty good this week (myself a lose of only .6 lbs (but considering Sunday, where I was back up 2 lbs – I’m happy that the trajectory went the correct way. So the message is “stay the course”.  If you slip, get back on the wagon and look forward.  We can’t change what is in the past, we can only focus on the now and the future.

We have options and choices – the goal is to make the right choices, because we have the capability to choose (in most cases) what we do and do not do.  And remember – you can’t just diet your way to that 6-pack, exercise is a key component so get out there and exercise and make good choices.  I’ve done OK on the exercise front and trying to be ready for the San Diego R&R Half Marathon.  Need to get more miles in…

Again, thanks to Dan for the fun picture!!!
